Speedometer freaks out... Any help?

Default Speedometer freaks out... Any help?

i had a b18c swapped into my 99 si not so long ago and the speedometer was working fine for about 3 months and now i was driving down the freeway and it started to bounce from 55mph (about what i was driving) all the way to 0mph and do bouncing games when ever i shudder the car with torque and now it completely wont work. Any ideas???

VSS- vehicle speed sensor

its on the transmission.

pull it out and inspect the gear. if its fine then clean the electrical connects

you can also take it apart and clean the gunk out of the inside.

that fixed mine.


(this is of course if the b18's use a similar type of vss)
