Default convertible civic (it's true)

Well the sales manager at the honda i work at told me there will be a new civic convertible coming out within 2 years. I don't really see it work(with the angle of the windshield) but just thought i'd share with you guys.

I don't believe many of the words that come out of the mouth of a sales person.

Very doubtful ... only up and coming Honda info that i've heard of is that about the diesel engine accords and V8 ridgelines they'll be releasing in '08... as for a conv. civic i think he's just blowing smoke up your ***

In two years? i'm exciting about the new engine... i was reading an article about the new engine with A-VTEC...A for Advanced and it's 3.0 liter....that would be nice to drop in a FG/FA chassis for more torques

My buddies GF was just talking about this. She saw it in a magazine. I thought it was BS, but if someone else heard about it I guess its a semi true possibility.

I honestly dont think it would sell, seeing as the price would be fairly high just like a G6 convertable is.

Honda hasn't had an entry-level convertible since the sun set on the targa-top Del Sol in the late '90s. The rumors coming out of Japan are saying that we'll see a Civic convertible within two years. If and when it arrives, you can expect the option box to include a 197-hp Si model.

Imagine how that would look with the top up

Something like a PT Cruiser convertable... which is hideous.

I sold cars for many years.. and this guy is right. There is a ton of useless sales personel.. but, there are also reliable ones too. Maybe a targa top is in order?
