Default Steering wheels....

hey i got this clip from a kid, the clip is a JDM 94accord auto w/h22, he took the motor out and had a local shop put it in using his original f22 tranny. anyway, i took the gauge cluster, steering wheel, digi climate controll, etc... anything usable. the steering wheel i took off it didn't have an airbag, my car does (96 ex) i tried to put the wheel on but it doesnt fit, the spline on my car is bigger. so i am assuming that if i got a wheel from honda with an airbag it will fit, true?

Then that means the fitament must be different between the JDM and USDM ones. Because you said you tried putting in a 96, correct? That looks like a steering wheel from a 1986-1989 Accord.

I could be wrong.

supposidly that steering wheel is the "sir" one but theres not a huge difference and you said thats a 94-95 front clip and you have a 96 its wont fit they arent the same size

well the reason i want that wheel is,
1. its jdm
2. its leather
3. its mint
4. mine is falling apart

thats what mine looks like, and if anyone else has that one might know that the top part deteriorates (its a plastic pice of ****)

94 and 96 different steering colum..you can make it fit but it will take some work...thats why a s2k bolts right up to a 96-97 while 94-95 takes some work

soo your saying if i got an s2000 wheel it would bolt right up to it and i could still use my horn/airbag? if so that would be awesome.... <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by HondaccordH22aJdm &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">ill buy it. lmk! muhahaha. i have a 94.</TD></TR></TABLE>how much you gonna offer?

thats pretty damn sweet, im stoked now. took my cruise control out with doing my swap.... hooking up cruise again... i got the cd6 w/ h22, i would need the prelude cruise control box? (the round housing with the cable coming out of it) and as far as that write up, i hate to ask but do you have a link? shouldn't be too hard though, hook up all the yellow connectors (my car is already OBDII) (for the airbag) and probably a black one for the horn, true?
