If you've found a gsr motor for a good price then def. get it cause its an awsome motor!, but if not then keep your options open b/c H22's have more torque and a smoother powerband... it is predideictable smooth power, which is sooo much nicer for daily driver. Screaming around a track in a high strung built gsr at 9k rpm is sweet but if this is your daily driver then i would def. go with the H22...
...But again, your car, your dime, your choice

mucho money....

Sure it is not a direct bolt in like a B series but it wont break the bank to swap it in.

I went boosted D series and was happy. My next turbo build will be on something with a better starting point. No ******* around.

thats what everybody says on here. that is why u see h22's for cheap and your like why are these not being bought if they are cheaper and way more powerful than a b series.

its because u have to cut and weld and have to hastle with **** before u can even drop the h22 in. sorry to be the one to tell you this. they say in the end it can cost as much as you just buying an b18c5 engine and just dropping that in.

why didnt u just throw some internals in the D and just turn up the boost D series are good for around 400whp when modded.

2600?

You can get shafted by hmotors INCLUDING A WARRANTY for less than that.

And that's talking complete changeover...

Horrible deal.

Yes. Have you considered a low life motor with low power? Consider a Turbo H!!

Damn straight.

Turbo D is the way to roll

EDIT:
Damn, I didn't even realize until I watched the vid again how conservatively that was tuned. Only tuned to 184whp and he was running an 11 or so A/F. Pretty rich, very low chance of throwing a rod with that - very conservative tune, that motor should have/should lasted/last awhile...he wasn't even pushing the stock internals' integrity either.

Damn. to that build.
