I just got done painting my valve cover for my SOHC and relalized that it probably would have been a good idea to use an engine enamel and then use the Krinkle Paint. Would it prevent the Paint from getting damaged because of the heat. I just did the krinkle paint, and its dry now, but i am not sure if i should have done the Enamel first. For the people who have painted their own valve cover before, Did you use any sort of paint before you put the final paint on, that would protect the final paint from heat damage.. Please let me know thanks
