Default crx dash problem

i just bought another rex and the speedomiter doest work and the lights wer all the gages are at dont work either and i already cheakced the fuses wat do u guys think it is? i would really appreciate if guys help me cause i dont wanna pay machanic to look at it for something small. please and thank u

im not sure you siad that the lights dont work but do all the otehr gauges work??

if not it could be a loose connection maybe corrosion in the connector onthe cluster
im not sure im jsut throughting general electric problem ideas out... could be a wire also... and you said theree ar no fuses blown>??

yeah all the other gauges work i mean at night wen u turn ur light on it doestn work, the lights that let u see ur rmp and all that stuff doest work, no fuses blown all good. any more suggestions?

it can be the dimmer switch the same **** happens to my 89 hatch

check the dimmer switch for lights...for the speedometer...u gotta take out the cluster cover and see if its connected in the back...

cluster is really easy to take out anyways...if the dimmer is working just take out cluster and change all the lgiht bulbs...but more then likely its the dimmer...if all lights don't wpork

if its a 90-91 it has a dimmer control unit under the dash you can jump it to see if the lights turn on

yea try to get a dimmer switch first from the junkyard usually that would be the problem...
