i've made a few threads before about my situation, none of the solutions have resolved my problem, now it is only getting worse

summary

1993 ej1
driving one day and out of no where i smell some burning
then my speedometer goes crazy
CEL comes on
i stop open my hood and i see radiator fluid everywhere

drive it all the way home
CEL codes 17 Vehicle Speed Sensor

i check the speed sensor and it's good. Clean the socket, nothing. Changed clusters, nothing. Junkyarded a new socket, rewired the socket and havent tried it yet

i give up on it seeing as how i had to go off for school, come back 6 months later and the car doesnt power on. No power at all. Tried jumpstarting, nothing. At this point my car is pretty stripped as i was trying to find the problem, but technically it should start. Any suggestions?

check ur wiring harness something might be grounding the starter out make sure the o2 sensor isnt snipped and none of the wiring is grounding out anywere

 

corroded battery cables would not give you any power and a dead battery. put a volt meter on it and see if the bttey still has voltage
