Default (noob) Got a question about lights on DC

Q#1Ok let me start off by saying im new here got a 1996 integra for a year already, tryng to go for that JDM look but I need some help on high beam lights. I bought yellow clear spray paint from JDMSHIT.com and I sprayed my high beam lights and replace the light bulb's with regular ones, the ones with a litle black tip to it. The problem is there still really bright is there any way to regulate voltage to the lights or to not make it as bright.
Q#2Are these lights legal to drive around in.
Q#3Im installing an energy bushing kit for the front of my integra how hard is it any advice on this install.

thanx for all ur help and advice.
ive tried searching allready too.

you could wire resisters in but just leave the high beams alone, they are quite useful at night and it probably is illegal to run them aall the time, bright or not

biggest pain for the fron witll be the ball joints and lower control arm bushings that will need pressed out

High beams are supposed to be bright. But I'm sure you could swap the wiring harness and bulbs to make your high beams the low beams and run those all the time while the outside bulb would be your high beams. So this would mean the inside bulbs are low while the outside bulbs are high, while looking at your car fromt the front.

are you trying to make them into city lights?
(dimly lit yellow lights in the high-beam area)

Because you can do that without changing the lighting at all.

search for city lights, there is a few threads on them between Honda-tech and team-integra.net ..

btw people do swap there high beam and low beams to make there low beams brighter, but your highbeam's will still be bright because of the reflector housing is designed and it's also aimed more up.. look for some threads on city lights..
