IGNITION SWITCH? CAN I USE A AUTO ON A MANUAL? OR A MANUAL ON A AUTO?
well, lately my car is having starting problems. i have already replaced ground wires, battery, starter, alternator, battery terminals. the only thing i can think of next is ignition switch.
called the dealer up and the want $300 for the whole ignition/ke lock assembly.
the local parts store are not to far behind. neither sells the seperate.
since i only need the switch itself and not the lock nor the lock cylinder, i have found some on ebay. but most of them are for manual cars. since mine is a automatic, can i use a manual one in my car?
will it cause complication later on down the road?
is it a straight plug n play? or do i have to modify the harness?

also, why acura is able to sell the switch seperate from the lock cylinder and honda dosen't? and can i use one from an interga, being that it's sold seperate?
