Default help engines codes

i did a b16a2swap unto my 97 ex coupe, i bought the obd2a to obd2b adapter so im usin the b16 ecu. now i got 2 engine code p0117 for ect low input and p1259 for vtec malfuction and it sucks cuz vtec not opening.i wanna fix it but i dont know where to start and i would like to do it myself instead of letting a shop doing it so pls guys any info would be nice

look at the wireing from the ect n vtec wires from the sensors to the ecu jumper harness (adapter)..sometimes the wires on the harness might be in the wrong places n u have to switch them around

or you could simply just have gotten a obd1 harness and gone that route get it tuned and all of that good stuff

have you tried not using the conversion harness and seeing what happens

just curious?

ok i understand that

get rid of the conversion harness and try it that way see what happens

if that fails get your self an obd1 ecu and put crome pro or hondata on there and all your problems are solved!
