Well when I recently pulled my head off I noticed the sleeves were rusted to crap on the outside in the water jacket. I run water in the car in season and parked it for the winter, drained it, and i guess that is why they are rusting because there is no fluid in there currently. What should I do to remove it or should I not really worry about it, my only concern was rust getting into the radiator and such. If it does need removed any suggetions?

I also don't want to spray anything in there that would effect the sealent that they put on the sleeves when installed.
nah.. no worries. Run some damn coolant in there.. or some other additive that will prevent rust. I would run a cleaner throough, then flush and put some coolant/or additive tha tprevents rust and you will be fine....
whats up e money. Not that you need advice from me but i'm sure its just a light rusty glaze on them huh? Just clean that shiot up and put some fluid in it. I don't see there being anything major you can do to make it any better then basically doing that.

I know its not a big deal I was just more worried about rust getting into the radiator or something down the road but I don't guess it will continue to corrode with fluid in it. Im just a worry wart, lol.

Im assuming you aren't running coolant because of the cooling properties. So you may want to try this...
Ive had great results with this stuff running my 13:1 CR 900RR with Nitrous in the Desert. Watch the video, it will explain.

I am sure giving the block a good flush with some coolant system cleaner will get any potentially loose rust off for good. Once there is coolant inside, it will stop further corroding. If you are still nervous about it, you can always run some coolant system lubricant (not quite a sealant like the oily barsleak stuff) to keep everything rust free
My motor sat at one time for a couple months, and I had been running straight water prior, there was rusting and pitting occuring on the exterior of the sleeves much like you are describing.
I ran a 50/50 mix for a couple months, backed it down to 20/80 and flushed it a few times. Had the head off again to replace some bent valves and saw the rusting and pitting had stopped, and actually looked better than it did before.
I run the 20% coolant just for the anit-corrosion properties.
Water Wetter works good as well. We use it in our Supra, and after a full day of lapping in 90deg weather, the temps are still constant. That is a 50/50 mix coolant/water + water wetter.

I dont even know what the mixture I was using was. I drained the cooling system, poured in the wetter, and filled the rest with distilled water. worked great!
