T3/T4 or GT 3076
Which one of these turbos spool faster in a gsr with a peakboost turbo kit? And what power would they make at 10 psi? Its a gsr motor with cp 81mm 9.0:1 CR pistons and manley rods. Stock head.
The 30r is a great turbo, I make 9 psi by around 4200 and 18 psi by around 4600. .82 a/r on a bone stock gsr. If you have the money definently invest in the GT turbo, it'll give you more room to grown than a standard 57 trim, and be funner on the street.
The ball-bearing feature really adds to the transient response though, as in not really being comparable on that aspect to a standard CHRA.

a1320addict - why dont you tell us what manifold and exhaust your running since those are big factors in spool. And I assume your running the standard 3076R-12? which is a 56 trim.

a 30r is one of my favorite turbos definately go with it, you will probably see full boost anywhere from 4000 to 4500 depending on the tune. (more or less 325whp)
are you planning on running more boost with that compression?

i personally am going to run the gt35R on my b16 i plan on utalizing the spool characteristics it has to offer throughout the powerband.
however i plan on running 15-25psi on it, making anywhere between 450-650whp on my setup, runnnig a full stage 3 gt with upgraded full race 20x3x11 intercooler yada yada...
in other words, the gt R series are the way to go
