Default Which header: DC Sport, Megan Racing, OBX?

Hi folks!

Which header is the better for my 5th gen Prelude with H22A4?
Or what could you suggest below $400?
Dyno diagrams with these headers will be the best

I paid $330 shipped for my DC with 2.5" collector for now until I upgrade to something better. I cant really comment on the performance aspect right now because my lude is not running.

that wasn't on the list- but now that i think about it- i would go with one of these if i didn't trade my kamikaze for the dc sport- check this out
http://www.modacar.com/product....html
dont know what the going price is- but its cheaper than the dc polished- but more expensive than the dc ceramics. But yeah greddy is a good brand- but dc aint that bad either. But you can get a megan racing header for cheaper than dc sometimes. just shop around- and if needed do the 2.5" collector mod.

Check out the Prelude Faq's. Official dyno thread is in there. Search for the official h22 header thread, it's been covered many many times.

sorry didn't see it was for a 5th gen. Yeah like rabbit said, ive heard a lot of people saying the aftermarket headers are very similar to the stock exhaust manifold. If anything see if the 2.5" collector can work with that stock manifold, seems like a good idea for you.

I am looking forward to see what this particular header does.

I would save up and buy a header that will make some nice power, to me $300+ is to much money to throw away on an OBX, megan or DC header.

the design looks similar between stock and cheaper(under $400) aftermarket brands for the header, but the stock header pinches in like mad at certain bends- thats the main motivation for me getting rid of it

take the stock manifold and just get it ported and save for a good header if you plan to stay Na

did anybody actually tested between stock headers and thouse cheap ebay headers? i had a though of buying one of thouse ebay headers that come out to like $80 bucks shipped, but are they any different from stock. I would of kept my stock headers but it sound like theres a hole or something cuz they sound like a tractor

I have the same issue, Flex pipes leaking like a ****. I don't want to buy junk yard pipes cause they are probably near death. Any know any ideas for a cheap replacement on that pipe? ( honda charges 750 bucks!)

If u are going to buy one of those 3 crappy headers, and dont need to pass smog in cali,go with the Megan,u can pick up for 130 on ebay and another 30 at exhaust /muffler shop to weld the 2.5" collector, soo u will have the best of the 3 for the least amount,by far!!!! Plus the Greddy is ****,its just shiny and overpriced,I have never seen a dyno w 1 that made any descent power,Im talking less than the dc with the smaller collector.
