Default location of FITV on D15B1

Still having a surging idle problem. Took the EACV off my old motor and put it on the new same, same problem. No CEL. I guess the FITV is the next place to check for a problem, can someone tell me where it is and what it looks like? I know it should be on the back of the TB someplace, any more specific?

it usually has a coolant hose going to it. You should take it apart and screw the plunger back into it. This will sovle the idle problems. THE FITV is like 1.5"x 4" in size.

Ah, that explains why I'm su friggin confused staring at the motor, thinking "where the hell is this thing?"

So, I changed over the EACV, there's no FITV to check, what else could be causing my suring idle?

surging idle usually caused by bad EACV, faulty coolant temp sensor for the ECU or low coolant level (or trapped air) in the cooling system - could also be vacuum leak

Well, figured out my problem. When I changed over the TB from the old motor to the new one, forgot that plastic plate underneath it with the gasket attached to it. Must have been leaking badly right below the TB, because I put it on there, runs great now.
