ok i was having over boosting issues with my wastegate.
i have a peakboost equal length manifold & 44mm vband tial wastegate.
with my electronic boost controller toruned off i would hit levels of .9-1.0 bar
once i opened up the gate i found my spring to be the small yellow one 2. psi &
a portion of the diaphram was pinched by the lid. my order cam in yesterday and i changed the diaphram, but due to the rain in the ny area i have not been able to take the car out.
my question is would a small portion of the diaphram being pinched cause overboosting?

 

I think it would beacuse if the diaphram is pinched is not going to let open up

took the ride out today and that was the cause of my over boosting problem

 

you need a new one, that diaphram is gone. Did that come from tial like that?
