well my hardline running from the firewall to the clutch cylinder is fucked. I tried taking off the dam line but the dam nuts are rusted like ****. how much am i looking at, a good guestimate on how much a shop will charge to replace it for me.
when we did my boys swap we had a steel braided line made to go from the clutch master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder.. cost about $45 to make.. its was 6 feet long.. we took out the hard line completely... its a do it your self job if you can bleed a clutch.. and if you do replace you line make sure you use a flare nut wrench ($10 at autozone 10mm) anything else will strip it..
well if the nuts are rounded try a good pair of locking vise grips to get the nuts of and the take the whole line to autozone or the like and match it up to new hard line (length and thread on the fittings) and bend it yourself. cause shop fees would probably charge an hour labor, and i don't know the rates locally for you but at my job labor goes at $85/hr

why not just buy a oem part to replace the rusted one? then it wont look ghetto ishouldnt cost more then 50 bucks labor plus parts

that's why you go to a salvage yard, and rip them out any civic or integra. when i did my auto - manual swap, that's where i got my hard lines, cost me $10. that was from the master to slave cylinder.

Then we'll put up the same two cars and ask which will have the stiffer pedal? Hard lines will ALWAYS be better than braided stainless lines. If it was possible I'd have hard lines going from my prop valve all the way to my brake calipers. So next time you want to open your mouth, don't. And if you insist, learn to speak English.
