Default Difficulty with slave cylinder replacement

99 civic si

My clutch has loss pressure and drops to the floor with ease. I found out my slave cylinder is leaking fluid. I bought a new slave cylinder but now I am having difficulty removing the old slave cylinder from the clutch line. I removed the two bolts from the block already. Instructions from the Helms manual not specific. My question is:

How do I remove/detach the slave cylinder from the clutch line? Do I twist the entire slave cylinder around on the clutch line or is that a screw on the clutch line I can actually turn? I am worried about twisting the clutch line.

yes the screw on the clutch line should turn. i had the same problem on mine ended up being the coating on the line was fraying and got stuck in the line. you could try and force it open but you may twist and break the line. you could use a br stainless line tho. thats what i ended up doing on mine. (should put the slave back on the the mounting points and then try turning the line.
