I'm trying to find some 304 stainless so I can make a decent downpipe flange.

I have some aluminum and stainless on hand and can cut to size if someone is willing to trade for a piece of 1/2" 304 stainless plate that I can get a couple flanges out of.

good luck with that SS plate goes for $3 + a lb at the scrap yard and alot more new

 

mcmaster.com has them. They are $254 for a 6" x 6" piece.

what kinda of flange are you looking for anyways?

I was wanting a flange for the T3 Garrett downpipe with 2.5" hole and 3.5" diagonal hole spacing.


Ebay has a 12"x12" plate for $50, but I'm trying to get away from dumping more money in it.

If so, they have them for under $30 in most places.

I'm looking for stainless 7/16 to 1/2" thick. I haven't seen any yet with the size hole I need.

OBX makes some decent ones, but I haven't seen any with the 2.5" hole. I already have two flanges sitting on my desk that I can't use and was hoping to just find some material and make it myself now that I have a pattern to go by.

 

Are the bolt pattern different or the hole too small? If it's the hole being small, you can always port it out.
