Can the quarter window seal be removed and replaced without removing the glass? I am talking about the seal to the exterior of the car.

 

Not that I know of. When I removed my trim from my 90 REX I realized the clips that hold it in are behind the glass a little and the window adhesive is all around them. I was already removing the windows cause some a-hole broke them out, I reinstalled the new windows w/o thew trim pieces (bought both sides from honda) because i was planning on painting the car and removing the windows again later. It turned out I actually liked it better w/o the trim, I just recommend cleaning up the area a little better before reinstalling the windows. either way you aren't going to get new trim back in w/o taking the window out
