Default hey people can i get some help on getting my ls vtec together....

i want to know what exactly do i need to get my ls vtec running.....i mean i just want a stock ls vtec for now just to start running with out it blowing....what do i need....my head is ported and polished its a b16 head, i have the gasket, the oil line, dc headers 4-1, fuel pressure regulater, and my pypping done, stock b16 cams, manifold, and no pistons...oh and a type r oil pump... do i have everything?????plz let me know was sup anyone that knows....thanxxxxx

Welcome to Honda-Tech. As you are not the first one to look into doing an lsvtec swap.... this topic has already been covered. Since your post count is only at 20 I'm guessing you haven't seen the search function (upper right hand corner.. its in red). Use that to find what you're looking for. Topic and engine has been made and done many many many times.

You should get a dowel/lsvtec kit from Golden Eagle. Do you have teh new ecu? distributor? etc.

I think you need to get some pistons before you try starting it

If u are just runing stock rods and pistons. Dont rev it no more then 7500 becuse the stock ls botton end wont take it. But put the v-tec at 4400 to 4800 to make up for the low rpm.

thanx, now i know not to take it up that high....cause i do have ls pistons and rods....its a stock bottom....so now i know how it wont blow......lol i was gonna take it up to like 85k but now im just gonna go 75k the most....thankxxxx
