how much did you spend on your suspension?
I'm very curious. How much did you guys pay for your suspension set up? I see a lot of people in my town with lowered cars, but I doubt they paid $800+ since some of them are hoopties.
I paid about 600 for omnipower coilovers, 30 bucks for a front camber kit, 60 bucks for some ebay strut bars. and if you consider it suspension or not is up to you, but i do, so 500 for a full race traction bar...
I would like to spend another 100 on a bushing kit and replace all my bushings, but i dont have the time..
Suspension is like anything else, you get what you pay for, the more you pay, the better your car will handle.. my friend has over 2 grand in his suspension, his car handles better then my dad's vette

750$ for Tein basic coilovers 130$ for Skunk2 front upper control arms. 100$ for omni rear adjustable arm links, And 100$ for rear c-pillar bar, rear stur tower bar, rear lower tie bar and front upper strut bar(friend hook-up). And finally another 90$ for an alignment. Depending on how far your dropped, finding a good shop to do an alignment with camber adjustment is going to be the hardest part imo.
i paid $100 for my coilovers (skunk2) i have the stock gsr struts no camber kit (i need one though) my $hit don't bounce at all.....i have it on the lowest setting with 16" gabs
but i plan on geting to tein setup

I lovem, they are a bit bouncy, but hey! there coilovers... my friend has tein SS's and other then them being adjustable, him and I agree that my omni's are just as good..
There were rumors of them breaking, but 1.) that was under extreme circumstances, and 2.) they have redesigned the collars on them to make them more stable.

The only thing I didn't get for less than retail were the top hats, my hookup couldn't get the parts in time for my alignment

Why are people listing the prices they paid for their C pillar bars and such? The original question is asking the $$$ spent on suspension.

A slammed hooptie is probably rolling on blown stock shocks and cut or torched springs. Meaning, they didn't pay anything to lower them. Back in high school, I don't know how many Buicks I helped lower with nothing more than cut springs and used truck shocks from the junkyard (to handle the increased spring rate), but we never spent more then $100 a car.

tein s tech springs- $180 and tokico blues- $240. Rides good and has a nice lowered stance. Would like it to be a little lower but that'll be a lot later.

Because a C pillar would be classified as suspension. It didn't specifically say for your shock/spring combo
