EDM suspension
I bought a 90 EDM CRX 1.6i-16 (ZC) it has factory roll bars and one piece coilovers (not sure of the make) on it, I am thinking about transfering this and the rear disk brakes to my USDM 91 Civic hatch (DX w/ B16 swap), and wondering if this would be easy and worth my time. Also will the main exhaust pipe from a CRX fit on a civic HB? Thanks

Here's my take on this.
1. Why not keep the EDM car as is? You could find Si sway bars for the USDM hatch. I have a US Si front sway bar and DA rear. Cheap at junk yards.
2. Suspensions are the same between crx and hatch, except I'm not sure if the sway bars swap over. Check your lower control arms in the rear to make sure they have the bolt hole for the sway bar link.
3. Disk brakes would work fine. Not sure if the parking brake cables work. I believe they do. I used DA rear disks and DA break cables.
Hope this helps some

Im in Europe, I dont even know if junk yards exisit here, or I would definatly do that. Im going to be taking the coilovers off anyways, so I figure why not just take the other stuff also. Im taking my hatch back to the states with me when I leave Germany. I will be selling the CRX so I wont even have it. I would have to change the LCAs for the sway bars to work, but thats no big deal. Thanks for you help.
