Is it worth to upgrade...

I got a Neuspeed upper strut bar. Koni shocks, OEM rear sway bar.


Would a lower x brace be a big improvement?

Rear upper strut bar be an big improvement?

Progressive Rear Sway Bar be a big improvement?


Are these worth my money or do they not of a difference

 

i would rather get sways+xbrace before strut bars...

 

A rear sway bar will make the biggest differences out of the ones you've listed.

I already have a stock rear sway. would an upgraded one be a big difference?

 

yes upgrading would be a big difference. stock its about 12 mm or so get a rsx type s rear which is 19 and thats good enough. rear strut bar shouldnt do to much. xbrace does a lot. it all depends on how u wnat ur car to handle as well

 

i heard xbraces are a waste of $$ on our cars, id do a search i believe its been covered before.

i have a neuspeed x brace didnt really notice that big of a diffrence but when i got the neuspeed front upper strut bar the steering felt much tighter the car felt to have better response i also have the nuespeed rear sway that was the big big diffrence 22mm sway iam abel to carey much more speed in turns car has a more nutrual feel

For a rear sway bar I would get an oem ITR 22mm or an oem rsx 19mm. Those will be cheaper than the name brand bars but may be harder to find. The Progress rear sway bar has been known to break endlinks but it doesn't happen to everyone. There are a lot of choices out there, it all really depends on what size you want.

Hi my name is ADI from Indonesia.

I want to ask some question:

Does ITR OEM sway bar 22mm fit to ES1 without make any modification?
Is it from ITR DC2 or DC5?

It's the DC5 OEM ITR bar and depending on what year and trim level your car is it wil bolt up. The only thing you have to worry about is making sure the ITR bar comes with bushings, you can't reuse the stock civic ones.

 

Yes I already know that the oem bushing must be replaced.

My car is different than in here but I think similar to DX type, 4 door D17A1 ES1.

Does it make problem during the installation I mean beside bushing ? Thanks.

 

If you have DX than no it's not a bolt on. Just to make sure look to see if you have a stock rear sway bar. If you do than it's a bolt on if you don't than you'll need the Progress adapter.
