Default EGR blocking?

hey i was wondering what are the pros and cons of blocking your EGR. i wont have to pass emissions on my 96 accord in my area so im not worried about that, my setup is 96 accord, OBD1 jdm h22. ive heard its pretty simple, just fab up a plate to block it off and bolt it right on. i now there are ports inside the intake manifold for it, do i have to do anything with these?

thanks

You'll raise combustion temp, probably throw a 'low flow' code and then drive around with the ECU in default mode; get poor gas mileage. Have a lean burn stumble.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

let it be, keep it clean and things will be good.

it's only in action while your in crusing, at idle and heavy take offs its not on.
