so im doing a bls swap and have avery thing in-take, exaust, ecu wire harness block, head, axles, tranny ,shift linkage, and im also going from auto to manual so my question is do i have to still get a si harness to go mpfi cuz i have an 88 efand it has that two injector **** so wut do i have to do
well you said your useing another ecu and harness so that means you won't be using the old one right? if thats the case no conversion needed, if your using you cars old wiring harness that yes conversion needed
my bad i meant which harnes do i use for the ls the one that comes with it or the one thats in the car cuz im doing a whole swap and was stuck cuz i didnt know which harness to use

you don't know what you are talking about you can not use a int ls harness in a 88 civic dx or any other civic for that mater he needs to have a his 88 dx engine harness rewired for the new motor and then he can use the ls ecu and stop picking on punctuation i would rather see bad punctuation then you posting about something that does not work
ps i have ben doing this stuff for over 10 years started out at place racing so i do know what i am talking about pm me if you want the harness done ill see what i can do for you

Wow, just wow.
This, and the original post is why I stopped posting...and makes me wonder why I keep browsing?
You cannot just swap harnesses. The pins are different from year to year and model to model. You need to do the MPFI swap that can be found in the FAQ like 4-5 times.
It's so easy that it can be done in under 2 hours, and have it look factory.

also on the 88 you would need to run the two extra wires for the FITV
