Just like the title says i have a 2000 civic si with a garrett t3/t4 and i want to know what pistons are recommended for this set up. im only running like 5 psi. id anyone has any suggestions or opinions as to what brands are a good bang for the buck or anything like that id appreciate it. thanks.
well @ 5 psi, you'd be fine with a stock bottom end.
if you go, lets say, 10 lbs, then you should get pistons. but @ 5 psi, you have nothing to worry about if it's tuned.
if you're getting pistons, you can definitely go higher with boost. i'd say go with an 8.9:1 or even a 9:1 setup with pistons.
