I was wondering if i can go 215/50/13 without any issues on my 92 hatch.

i also want to know wat is the lowest profile i can go.

 

Is this for street use, or for autocross, drag racing, etc?

No I don't think you can run 215 inch wide tires on 5.5 inch rims.

Correct. Tires that size are only approved for mounting on rims that are 6.0-7.5 inches wide.

(But I think you mean tires that are 215 mm wide, not 215 inches, which is around 18 feet. )

Why do you want to run 215 treadwidth tires, anyway? Your choices are VERY limited, either track tires or truly crappy street tires (Sumitomo 200). If you're looking for performance and handling, concentrate on getting better, stickier tires - although, to do that, you really need to get larger wheels (at least 14", or better yet 15"). The selection of decent performance street tires in 13" is non-existent.
