I am trying to get a group buy going from a company in malaysia. I have spoke to the owner a couple of times and he will handle packing the container and shipping it from over there. We will have to pay shipping for the container and pay taxes once it arrives in customs. The owner said he can lower the price on the invoice to save us some money with customs. We can fit 9 front clips in a 20 foot container or 18-20 in a 40 foot. I wrote up a list just to get some ball park figures. These prices are just for one item and the more we buy the cheaper it gets. The prices are also negoitiable. Here is a little list I sent him and he sent me these quotes.
If anyone is interested tell me what you want and I can get a price.

Shipping is 2800.00 for a 20 foot and 3800.00 for a 40 foot container and a 500 delivery fee to deliver and load the container in malaysia. This still doesn't include tax at the ports. I will find out on that tomorrow.

ill take the whole clip minus the swap is the price is right

 

check on sume rims like mugen or volks, etc... 4x100 16's... also if the recaro go down i'll pick up a set to...

 

He said to get the best price on rims i'd have to pay them a visit. I will see if I can work something out.

Last time I had a container shipped from South Korea to Savannah Georgia it was around $6k for a 40' so to make it worth it you need better prices and a full 40 footer. You can put 45000 pounds inside one and still have it transfered out of port on a regular chassis with no special OTR papers. You can also have it off loaded into 2 seperate trucks in port if you have some trucking contacts with a trans loading dock in the port (Milan has one in Savannah) then you can put ~60k pounds in one, but that would be stuffed full and the possibility of damage increases.

I do this all the time (not with car parts though) and its getting more expensive due to the rising fuel costs and post 9/11 BS in the ports. Just consider that before jumping into this.

I can't believe you guys are asking $550 for some Red ITR Recaros

$620 is cheap as expletive. ITR are not cheap even over in Japan. Because of the high demand of them in the US it has also raised the price of them over in Japan..we are basically stealing this stuff from over seas.

Damn I'm going to have to start slashing prices

Im interested in some black recaros for that great price also what would be the price on DC2R front conversion w/out the engine or some tein suspension?
