Default Can all rims be painted?

I'm new to these stuffs and my 2003 accord has a set of stock shrome rims. Pure steel I think with some big scratches on it. I want to paint it black to make it look hot. So can chrome rims be painted and are there any good sites maybe with picture or video instructions. I read the stickies and it seems pretty easy.

You may want to scuff up the chrome surface for better adhesion, but to answer your question directly, yes all wheels can be painted.

the only type of wheel that may or may not give you a little trouble is something magnesium (which you probably would not want to paint anyway due to the cost) best guess i could come up with.

you would have to grind off all the chrome off then you would be down to the bear cast wheel... the chrome will flake off in chunks...
