Well, I have an LS motor in my car at high RPM it falls on its ***.
Seems to have lots of torque and no HP.
Whats the deal

what rpm are u taking it up to? ls motors weren't made to make power up to 8000 rpm like like a v-tec motor. it probely looses power after 6500 rpm.

You pretty much described an LS motor perfectly.. If its obviously not running right and stumbling up top you might want to check out the plugs.. and possibly invest in a tuneup (cap, rotor, wires) etc..

man, where did real tech go. nobody has helped him yet, just tryed to make him look stupid.
90% of the people with swaps use the stock exhaust for that chassis w/out a problem, so that is NOT the problem, and a gutted cat isnt going to make power drop off at the top of the band.
OP: check your ignition and cam timing, then make sure all your general maintenance items are in good shape (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, etc) check fuel pressure, etc.... if you have NO codes its not something serious enough to make the ECU notice it, most likely something simple. what ecu are you running by the way.

I think he said no cat, which probably means no o2 sensor. I don't know about an ls motor, but if he has no o2 sensor that could be his problem. From the information he's given us thats about all we can tell him. You can always say check this do that but your still just guessing. More info please.

Yes i'm dead ******* serious.. It sound like he's wanting his engine to perform like a racecar and it simply won't 1)Because it's a honda 2) because he has a stock engine and three to simply clear this up...
