H2B OR K20A SWAP
hey just looking for some opions on what everyone thinks about which swap would be beter? i want to do either a k20 type r or a h22 type s on an integra type r tranny. i know the k is more money but yet will be faster. is it worth the extra money?? moneys not really a problem as i will be selling a gsr swap with a good bit of work done to it and have other money saved. it will be going into a 95 si by the way. thanks everyone.

wait wait wait whoa what? h22 with an ITR trans? how do you plan on pulling that off? if i were you now this is just me talking here....95 si....its a 5th gen si so its a hatch and you're off to a good start...(unless your in canada) ls/vtec....12.5:1 compression...get some good cams (toda, crower, etc...) and a good valvetrain (crower, skunk 2, etc..)...Omni Power is making ITBs for b series coming in March of this year i believe 1100 bucks is the projected price....or if you can't wait for whatever reason you can get some TWM itb's for around $1700....people will say it's been done over and over but really does a good fun all motor hatch ever get played out? if you can make around 215-225 all motor whp you'll have some turbo guys crankin the boost up to try to keep up.

not too much. maybe 15 or 20 mph difference. f series are way longer then the H. the B series ( depending on which) is not too much shorter the the H. that B series tranny (H2B) can cut your time down by a whole second.

I think that's debatable

if you want a more reliable car that will stay w/ you longer w/ some well above average power, go with the k. they're getting more and more popular as parts are them have become easier to get a hold of. and even if you're going to the tracks, addingsome good internals, and even a little turbo will
leave you with some good results.

i run a h2b(itr trans) + turbo... runs like a champ. right now k series motors are so expensive. but k series is the future of honda performance. if you got cash go k but if you dont h2b is the best bang for your money.
b series...all day every day...
but since that wasnt the question. i would say go h series. my buddy has one in his ek....i love it.
ks are awesome...but too much money. for the money you spend just getting a stock one you could build your h series a little bit.
good luck
