My friend has been working the grave yard shift at his work for the last week so a couple nights ago i went down to keep him company and we decided to detail our cars and take some pictures. there not the best since i'm still trying to figure out all the settings on my new camera but i thought i'd share them anyways. enjoy.

I was thinking the same thing! I relaly like the Si sedan in white. It would still sit on the driveway while the R is in the garage though

Seating position and cowl make it feel like a boat when you are driving it.

why? fighter jets (F-16 & F-18, etc, etc, so on and so forth) are FBW. and your point is?

heh, it's similar to the first time I saw an RSX parked next to an ITR. The RSX looked huge.

The NSX was DBW since its inception, as well. It's about the implementation. For the Si, Honda programmed in a "rev hang" to aid in emissions or fuel economy. It's annoying from many accounts. Honda can perform reflash to reduce it, but not entirely.

understood, but alot of cars, performance cars can have a reflash performed. I think this is a moot point since a buttload of cars are now DBW and can be reflashed to negate/minimalize the issue.
it's the way things are and or going to be. better to accept it now and learn to compensate.

Except that at this point the Honda reflash doesn't completely quell the rev hang complaints. Point being, I'd rather have a throttle cable than the Si's still quirky DBW.

I'm personally not a fan of it, i don't like the feel of the response compared to a mechanical throttle body. i haven't ever flown a fighter jet so maybe the response is a little better, I'll have to take your word on that.
thanks for the spelling correction

They are DBW out of necessity for items such as traction control and VSS.
This is why its the future in almost all cars. Don't get me started on cars forcing you to turn off VSS every time you get into them.
Oh, and how could a fighter jet have a throttle cable?

Like I said, it's about the implementation. I don't recall any complaints about the NSX's DBW, going back 15 years. I've driven a couple and didn't notice anything different than the response a throttle cable would provide.
Honda played a little trickery with the Si to improve its emissions and/or fuel economy. TBH I can't be bothered to read up on it again to verify which.

no problem, any time. I aim to please.
If domestics can overcome or even replace the digital issue then I'm sure Honda tunerscan or will soon follow. I understand preference, hell I love the feeling but it's not the end of the world.

Yes. The Ford mustang gt has at least 1 aftermarket option I know of.
