Just debating if I should contact the seller and bitch. I paid I think 40$+ ship, and I don't need it, and these things only sell off for like, what, 15$? I'm thinking by the time I ship it back to him it'd cost me more in time and shipping and to just leave neutral feedback and try to sell it off...

Only the First generation 86-89 Integra's had D-series motor (D16A1). So yeah you were given the wrong part. Acura Integra 90-93 all have B18 except for the 92-93 GS-R which came with a B17A.

Strange they stepped down to a 1.7L for the GSR and kept the 1.8 for the LS...

Then again I guess we should look at how (despite it has a turbo) a 1.6L can outrun V8's...

I dont' know, just seems wierd. Yeah, I'll be bitching at him, I suppose.

Only the 92-93 GSR had the B17 (1.7 litres). The 94-01 GSR's have the B18C1 (1.8 litres). So only the 92-93 has the 1.7 litre motor. Sorry for the confusion.

Its because untill then, vtec was only on the b16. The b17 was the first vtec in america and it was the bigest vtec at the time. in either country. It was just an advancement for that time and then in 94 they put out the 1.8 and all was good. And if they had put out a b20 vtec then everyone would want one and ask why they even made the 1.8

So you're saying the NSX had a b17 in it?
