My belts have lost their retraction power to the point where I have to manually push the driver side belt in to wind it. Is there any way to rejuvenate them or am I going to have to purchase new belts?

Also I heard that the dealers will replace belts for free due to some kind of safety law. Sounds great to me but just not practical... Is this true?

 

There is a lifetime warrenty on the belts so I'd take it to the dealer and see if it's covered under that. Atleast there is a lifetime warrenty on my car.

go to the dealership and have it replaced under Honda's Lifetime Seatbelt Warranty.
