V8Civic
So a while back my friends told me that they were gonna put a mustang engine in a civic and turbo charge it .... never believed them until it was done... i believe this whole swap didn't cost more then 3 grand

for a while it had mustang drag radials on

They tried to convince me to put a Caddy's north-star v8 in my hatch, but i wanna stick with my JDM car and Engine, i think the next project would be a 4g63 in a civic lol..

Welcome to life..
At OP:
Yeah, that's a pretty sweet setup there.
I mean it totally removes the practicality out of a civic as a great gas mileage daily driver...but it's totally bad-*** at the same time.
The only thing better than a turbocharged V8 IMO is a twin turbocharged V8
.
Though superchargers hold their ground too on V8's.
Yeah, the swap won't be expensive if you know how to cut and weld (fabricate) on a high level. You can pick up a chevy 350 for really cheap due to gas prices, nobody wants V8's, so you can always pick up a 5.7 (350) or so.
So if you got the fab skills, this has been done more than once, it should be rather straight forward.
I skipped the part on the stats. A mustang engine. Due to the turbo I don't really have a good look at it but it appears to be the 302 (5.0L). They're probably using mustang driveshaft and axle with the same differential.
It's not ridiculously hard if you know how to fabricate metal. I'd easily mark making a civic 4WD (using the CRV crap) hella lot harder than droppin a V8 in a civic in terms of customization.
I can do neither
. My friend installed 4WD on his truck (originally 2WD) It was a bitch and a half.

I will get videos up as soon as i can its raining today so it wont be tonight... i don't think i could get a safe videos of it in action in the rain. I haven't actually been in the car in a while so the paint job is a new thing for me too. I am not to fond about the paint job, i wanted them to do a jdm style car painted black with jdm fog lights and some circuit 8's but nobody ever listens to me lol oh well ... Yes its an American engine but you have to respect all type of cars.. No dyno number that i know of yet i probably wont see any of them till the weekend to ask (damn jobs) but the first time they tried putting it on the dyno it wasn't boosting properly so they couldn't get a accurate number. As for the specs its basically a fox body mustang with a civic shell, custom drive shaft, and a mustang rear end. hasn't taken it to the track yet but i wanna try to convince them to take it on pinks Import vs import lol....but before they take it to the track i would believe they would have to make it a lil more stable when i rode in it the throttle cable was to long and it wasn't opening up all the way but, when they hit it, it was ridiculous. like i said ill try to get video's up by the weekend of it in action.
