Can i use this line for fuel?
Hi guys,
am gonna use a -8 line as feed which i got from Fast-Turbo.com and wanted to use -6 for return, but i had doubts on this line that i got new from a local store here..since i had doubts i took it somewhere else asking them what it it was and they said its an ST which means shielded outer (NOT braided from the inside) and Teflon inner, but does it look like Teflon? its rigid when you touch it and NOT smooth like the rubber type fuel hoses!
let me know
should i use it or not?

id say theres an easy way to find out.
if it is teflon inner dont use a barb fitting becuase
it will likely slice through over time.
seen it happen once
if you want good ss lines look on http://www.racerwholesale.com
they sell fittings and everything one stop shop

if thats the line i am thinking of, you can use it fow ruel, it just needs the crmp on ends from a hydraulic shop. i used that line or similar on my t type as a second feed.

well using alumium connector isnt an option for me right now, since they are not available local here (am overseas by the way!)....why would it splice you think? isnt teflon chemical/glycol friendly and used for high pressure? and yea why i cant use brab fittings? am still gonna crimp it if thats still a good sollution?
