I didn't know cold air intakes were legal in IT. I may have missed hearing about a new rule something. Would you be willing to describe how the camber adjustment works?

They're both 100% legal for Honda Challenge - no need to bring accusations of cheating.

Ok, I'll admit to being somewhat of an A$$ but...
I checked the NASA NorCal results and didn't see anyone with the name Phil racing an Integra with #70. Honda Challenge is run in the Oregon area but I attended all of those races and this car was not present. So I assumed the car has been running ITA lately. I also don't read the IT rules constantly and it's possible that cold air intakes could have been made legal recently.
As for camber adjustment, it is allowed on IT Integras.

OK, yeah it was one of my cars, I built it and raced it for 2 years and then sold it to Phil. I raced it in ITA and H4. As for the cold air intake, they have been legal in IT for a long time. the IT rules state that the intake can be changed as long as the pick up point is the same as stock.

Without starting a long debate here, the question is still up in the air.
CAI's are only legal for certain chassis's the way the rule in IT is written and the ITA DA is one that is questionable by some as not being legal. The question has not fully been answered and the wording should be cleaned up in the rulebook for the IT classes.
As far as HC, it's 100% legal.
BTW, sounds like a nice car! Hope someone in socal buys it!

I know preludes come stock with CAI, the stock intake pulls air from the tire well and not from under the hood, thus it's IT legal to have an aftermarket intake pulling air from the same place. Don't most Honda's pull air from the same spot? I would think, if your stock intake pulls air from the tire well then any aftermarket CAI that does the same is IT legal.
...sorry, we are getting off topic.. someone buy the race car

You are right, on the DA and most hondas the stock air intake is pulling air from the wheel well and that makes the after market CAI's legal in IT, last year at the ARRC most of the top cars were running them and there was no question of the legality.

On my '93 Integra the air was not drawn from the wheel well. A pipe at the front of the engine bay brought the air into the airbox. A search on google turned this up: http://i88.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpg . This is the intake system from a '90 or '91 Integra. The object at the top of the screen is a resonator which would reside in the wheel well. To the best of my knowledge the intake resonator is closed off except for an opening that leads to the intake.
Just because many people do something does not make it legal. Based on your statements and that picture I don't see how a CAI is legal on a DA Integra.
