Default J's Racing 60RS ... again

Hi,

I searched (at least) the whole database but havent found what I was looking for.
Is anyone here running the 60RS on his ITR and is able to tell me whether its loud or not ?
Cause S2k drivers say its not loud at all, DC5 driver say its pretty loud
and a couple of ppl in between say other confusing stuff .
So, ITR drivers, how loud/quite is this exhaust ?

Thanks

ive heard it on the s2k...and its not quiet. youre dealing with thin gauge titanium, and a relatively small N1 style straight through muffler, its gonna make some noise

I had wondered the same thing when I got my ITR. I had the dual 60RS on my S2K and I thought it sounded great. Its not nearly as quiet as the Mugen exhaust on my ITR, but it was a real deep smooth tone. Not an annoyingly loud raspy sound at all. It has a decent sized resonator on it.

i got the T1R full exhaust system (if its of any help) that dosent sound a thing one I start it, maybe alittle more than stock but when I put the paddle to the metal I get a loud nice sound! if you have your hole interior left in the car their is no way anyone can complain(sounds so sweet) but if you dont and dont like loud cars etc etc I would say to its loud.

man or a mouse go for the 70mm thats what I had done

hey, on my desktop I have a video of an ITR with the J's 60RS and it'll give you a good impression. im on my laptop now, and im not sure how to host it from my comp. i'll look into it for ya.

really though, it just sounds like a slightly toned down Spoon N1 (which I have) and you are more or less paying for the bling. you'll make more power with other things on the market for that price (hytech being a prime example). I was debating getting this and then realized money could be spent elsewhere.

Ive heard a 60RS on an ITR with JDM header and cat delete. sounds decently mellow low RPM, and loud, but not insane by any means at high rpm. my 60RR on my EG6 is kind of on the loud side, but i have heard worse.

Does matter if you hear it on an ITR or a Civic if they both have an ITR motor?

If so whats the difference?

The motors won't make a difference, but I would think the piping may be a little bit different and they may have different sized resonators on it. Going by what their website says, they adjust things to get a certain sound out of each car.

Yep, Fujitsubo RM01A is a lot quieter on an ITR than an EG hatch. Has a whole extra resonator on it.

I think the 60RS has 1 resonator for both the ITR and EG6

I have a test pipe on mine so I couldnt tell you how much lower it can get. But there was a guy here with an S2K that had his 60RS with a Cat and it was just as quiet as the stock exhaust. Only thing you could hear was the motor reving up.
