normal cold start rpm in cold weather?
Lately, my car has been idling around 2.9k at startup. Don't recall this before, but its been real cold lately. Once the car temp goes up car seems to idle like before (not positive on this, haven't noticed anything out of the norm, nothing erratic). Car is a '95 integra with 150k on it. I did replace one of my radiator fans (old one went bad several months ago) last weekend and thats when this seemed to start happening. I searched for quite a while and all I could come up with from responses is <2k on cold startup seems to be normal. I have yet to get any codes. New fan works fine, so I'm some what stumped on how adding the new fan could cause this.
Could not flushing the radiator cause something like this? When replacing the fan (left side, when standing in front), I had to remove the upper radiator hose. When doing so, antifreeze/water did come out. I did fill the radiator back up once everything was put back together. Any input is much appreciated

Your ecu eill adjust your idle speed, coolant flow until your engine is up to a warmer temp it is normal on a very cold day for the engine to eidle that high. If your un happy:

is how you can adjust it

your having a problem with the thermo fast idle valve which is located on the bottom of the thottle body and it has two water lines that connect to it, take it apart and clean it out it will look like a little theromstat when you pull it apart if that doesnt work you can replace it just call a parts house or dealer for it.
Indeed your car should be idling at 1800-2k on cold starts. It could be the FITV (fast idle thermo valve, do a search and you'll find a how-to on how to fix it). It could also be that you havent bleed the cooling system enough. Do NOT play with your idle screw (thats for the base idle only, not the cold idle). If your base idle (warm idle) isnt right then that could be part of the problem.
