2000 Accord CG3 5-Speed 2.3l 4cyl Dyno
wtf? 300hp is good in my book.. 400hp is great, 500hp is excellent ... the jaw dropping power starts at 600hp..
dude, add some beef to your 'cord.

I don't care what you think 'good power' is. Matter of fact, I could care less about hp all together. This is a STOCK, BASELINE dyno run.
To the point,

This is simply a baseline run for new 6th gen Accord owners who are interested to see what their Accord's stock powerplant might produce. 138wtq stock. How many other stock everyday Honda four-bangers that can do this, and at ~2500 rpms no less.
Read up on notoriousB if you want modified power.

You're missing the point. This is simply a baseline run... meaning, if AFAccord gets a dyno later on after completing his FI setup, he'll have something to compare it to. That way he'll know what his actual gains were.
For other owners, it gives them an idea of what they are starting off with. There's always people asking what a stock motor puts down, whether in someone else's thread or in their own. That's the point...
There are plenty of people who are going for fairly high horsepower numbers, even 6th gen owners. You don't have to have a race car to have higher horsepower goals.

I couldn't give two ***** what you think 'good power' is. Matter of fact, I could care less about hp all together. What good is 600hp with 210ft/lb torque? Show me 300+ ft/lb tq and I'll consider the car praise worthy. But I digress...
How about this then?

My work truck!

Lol. Yeah, that's impressive alright, but on a whole nother level. I've got a soft spot in my heart for diesels. My girlfriend drives an '05 Ram 2500 4x4 with the Cummins turbo diesel, fully loaded with the complete Banks Performance Six Gun kit (I had nothing to do with it
). It pulls a meager 502whp and 917ft/lb wtq on the same dyno.

Nice numbers stock man, especially the torque. I just got mine dynoed too..156.9whp and 145wtq with i/h/e, stage 1 clutch/fidanza flywheel, and a catalytic emissions CEL
My torque didn't increase much from the mods considering yours stock is 137. I have the F23a4 ULEV too
Btw..Thank you for posting a stock 6th gen dyno. I'm sure a lot of people over on 6thgenaccord.com will be happy with this. I am a believer in the F23 too

Considering the car's SAE Net rating, it is pretty good indeed.

Although I doubt this car will ever be campaigned again, it won the last two races it was in. We've lost track of the total mileage on the motor, but it's up around 300,000 miles and we've never even taken the head off.

Which is in NO way advantageous over any four cyl 5mt accord. He's gonna see lower results vs his net ratings, and while they may be higher than a stock four cyl engine, he's still at a gearing, and weight disadvantage. I really don't understand why he even raised question on this thread.

In my point of view.... a domestic car with 70k miles is high mileaged already.
Now, when it comes to a honda or acura..... 180k or 200k is when you could say.... "...oh well.. it's got a high mileage on the odometer..."... and yet.. drives and feels as reliable as when it had 100k.
I had one accord (91 SE auto), that had 250k miles on it... drove strong, I had it for delivery of pizza and food at restaurant 7 days of the week. It never gave me the idea that the engine needed some rest.
That's one of the things that make me like a honda so much.
And this thread, is indeed helpful to the accord owners out there, that should belive more in HP gain in their original motors other than swaping motors from japan. I'm not saying is wrong to swap, I'm just saying that with the same money to swap a motor, you could invest in that f22 or f23 and make it descently responsive to the gas pedal.
Accord luv!!!!
