Dyno numbers mean dick honestly. Every dyno is going to be different and your trying to just make peak power on your setup. The numbers actually mean very little.

You see, I could tell you the answer.
But how about you try both out for yourself, and see which makes more power.
Its a learning experience, like the discovery channel!

To me, the dyno means everything. I'm not concerned with peak numbers, but w/the dyno, my car will run 10times better, as the fuel and cam timing are adjusted, along with VAFC adjustments, and the power is smoothed out. I picked up 21hp @the wheels in the midrange last time @ries dyno'd my car. My peak power only jumped up 7-8hp, but the car pulled so much better because of the midrange he found on the dyno.
Regarding the wheels. If you dyno with the 17's, your overall power output will probably read a bit lower, but it won't affect the actual tuning of the car, it's just that the numbers would read a little larger with smaller/lighter wheels. As long as your tuned gets your car running right, and the adjustments are positive, it's worth it.

Re: Dyno question?? (rodrez)
Thanks for clearing that up rodrez. I was getting at that in my rambling post.
Getting it tuned to make the max power is what's important. Not the actual numbers.
