I was given a skunk2 chipped P06 (unknown history) and when I plug it into my EM1 (via obd2->obd1 conversion harness) my rpm gauge doesn't function. What is the problem?Solution? Is this chipped P06 (used for an all motor b16 prior to me) harmful in anyway on my stock I/H/E, 6puck B16a2? How do I find out vtec engagement and redline since my guage isn't functioning?

that chip will make your car 100% slower...

its not tuned for YOUR car.

put your stock ecu back in and smash that thing.

 

It wasnt in my car before, it was in a eh2 with a first gen b16. And it was great!

Not really the question, I did drive it already and the car feels alot smoother and quicker up top....but I want to know about my guage.

i will bet you $100 if you put your car on a wide-band you will be too lean or rich.
