Default lo jack worth it??

been thinking about getting lo jack after hearing about all the cars getting stolen.. who has it? are you happy w/ it knowing they will get your back? whats your opinions on it?

i have a great security system that will wake me up in the middle of the night if my alarm does go off, but i know if someone wants my car they will get and lo jack will get it back to me asap...

I had it on an old car...Didn't work for me...Car was recovered some three days later, stripped. Got my refund from LoJack, and went out to dinner and bought some snake skin pants. (got my refund, didn't really buy pants. )

i have it, haven't had a reason to use it, hope i'll never have to! i don't rely on it, but it's good to know it's there, just a piece of mind. the best security system is yourself

my car has been stolen a few times. to tell you the truth i wish i wouldnt have gotten it back and just taken the money from insurance. after the second theft it just isnt the same. i love my car but would have taken the money gladly. i am just getting a better alarm instead of lo jack.

I don't have it on any of my cars, but i do have friends who have it, and it did play a big role in them getting back their cars quickly and before it got stripped, imo it is well worth it.

what is the lo jack system is found in the car and its thrown away or broken?? could that happen?? there really arent that many places you can hit something in a honda civic.. ive heard that it is about the size of a cellphone and it needs a power source so i would think under the dash is the only place it can go.. correct?? if get one i want them hid that thing somewhere where it cant be found..
