Default Rod adjusement on internal wastegate

I had to modify the placement internal wastegate on my t3, Now im not making any boost, before I mess with the rod, will backing it in increase my boost? My manual boost controller didnt not move

First I would take the boost controller out of the picture until you get the wastegate right. You aren't making boost because the flapper is open. You'll need to position the arm (lengthen, or shorten) until the flapper is just closed. Make sure it's working good, then bring the boost controller back to the party.

I'd make the flapper even a little snug against the housing to be sure you weren't killing your spool time, plus it sounds like you're looking for a little more boost than the factory setting anyway.

Cool, thanks alot for the info. If the flapper is open will i need to shorten or lenghten the rod?

longer = less boost.
shorter = more boost.
b/c the shorter it is, the less it can open resulting in higher boost.
