I want to run in the Sfwd class and similar classes. I am building a Honda Insight with a B16 turbo. I am just wondering if I will have any problems with the techs when I line up for inspection. I will add weight to meet the rules and keep it in SFWD spec. All I am doing really is taking out the stock engine, battery, IMA and putting in a B16, roll cage, and etc. Need your advice. Thanks,

 

nope should be fine, you should look at the approved cars list though, as long as you dont mix and match you can put a 85 honda motor in there if you like

anybody know what the best e.t.'s or traps are for that PXRD Insight? I know he did some gangstar cutting on those fenders to make those slicks fit. They look like 26's.

i would think even if it was a custom one from a chassis shop that could be considered "commercially available" but you should get in touch with the tech dept and get an answer from them. GL though that looks like it will be sick.

Dee-dee is an amazing girl. I have not talked to her in a while. She can do motor swaps and a bunch of other stuff with these cars. I wonder if her and Paul are still together. hmmmm... curious
