I need help with boosting my stock b16a engine i want to know what turbo is best to get, to start boosting at about 4500-5000 rpm, what size intercooler pipng, and how safe it is to boost this engine.

with a good tuner you can go 11pounds on stock map , try a drag kit, My friend had one on a stock b16 and it made 285 to the wheels on 10 pounds.

psi doesnt mean anything as different size turbo's push different amounts of air at the same psi. power is what breaks stuff not psi. you can make 300-350whp on stock internals with the right combination of parts and good tuning.

 

Go with a peakboost kit. Here is a bone stock b16a that I did a few months ago.

 

too bad my h wont make that high a number on stock internals..
