how to adjust cable clutch, plus a question...
did a cable trans swap in the civic. I'm trying to figure out the proper adustment point on the clutch cable. Do I just adjust it until it loses slack then stop??
also, the circled grommet...I assume I need to bend open the clutch fork ring, put the grommet in, and then rebend the clutch fork ring???

Don't bend open the clutch fork ring. You adjust the **** untill you have alot of slack and pull it out of its bracket, them push the cable down to attach to the clutch fork ring. You should be able to figure it out.
The clutch should be adjusted to where you have a half inch of play at the pedal. Trail and error, then readjust until it is perfect. The clutch should engage just before the midpoint of the pedal travel and have a 1/2 inch of freeplay at the pedal when it is fully released. Kinda hard to explain.
