PLEASE HELP: Body shop says radiator doesn't fit in my GS-R???

Have GS-R OEM Radiator Fans ever changed from 94-2001?
Radiator originally in my 94 GS-R: PA610+PA66~G (says Showa)
Radiator I bought: PA66+PA612~G (No label)
The body shop says my old radiator fan doesn't fit on the GS-R radiator I gave them. Do you guys have any idea why this might be the case? Thanks in advance.
