I have an 02 RSX-S and i'm looking to get the reflash done. I searched for a thread on how to remove the ECU but couldn't find anything. I'm not illiterate on the matter. I just got this car and i'm still learning the configuration. There's def. more safety features on this car than my old civic (damn radio reset when the battery is connected confused the hell out of me) so i don't want to screw anything up. Is there a thread on how-to? or if someone could give me a good run down that would be great too. Thanks guys.

 

hondata has instructions on how to remove the ECU and the immobilizer required for reflash.

its just like any other honda. just unbolt it thats it.

the ecu sits under the glove box. theres 3 10mm bolts holding it down.

the immobilizer ring is on the ignition. theres like 2-3 screws holding it down to the ignition.
