Are you using the same bolt that you took out? Is it in the same location? That bolt's longer than the rest. (or the bolt that goes there)

Check and compare the lengths of the other ones...

well there are only a couple 19mm, I think 3 and I can get it about 3/4 in and it gets really hard to tighten and I am affriad of snapping or stripping it.

Theres 2 19mm bolts that go into the bracket holding the trans in on the back. The rest (that hold the trans) are 17mm.

Like Syndacate said, the two bolts that hold the starter against the trans - one is actually longer than the other because it goes through the trans and into the block. Hopefully you're not putting the longer bolt into the shorter bolt hole.

Past that, I got nothing. Never seen someone with this 'problem'.

I know which bolts you are talking about but this is a bolt for trans to block. Its above the starter. There are 3 17mm and 1 19mm the 19mm is kinda below the head.

You're Fing up if you're putting a honda bolt into that hole with a 19 mm head on it. I just threw a socket on that bolt on my car and it's 17 mm for sure. Sounds like you're throwing the rear motor mount to tranny bolt in that hole. The pic doesn't even show the bolt but, it's the one right below the dizzy. I have a handful in my junk box so, I know it pretty well.

You have to have the pic hosted somewhere on the web...not on your desktop PC.

When you've got that done, click the little image button above (Bold, Italic, Underline, Link, Pic). You need to put the link between those IMG tags.

It may go all the way in because you already stripped out the threads that were there for the 17 mm bolt. If you stuck that 19mm bolt in there and cranked on it hard, the threads are probably done AND you might crack the block.

10 people have told you it's not a 19mm. If you want to check, go to Majestic honda and compare the part numbers to the bolts. You'll see the one under the dizzy and the one under the vtec solenoid are identical.

If the 19mm one that pic is pointing at is the tranny to rear mount bracked bolt, it's 17mm too.

I understand what you guys are saying, it only got super hard when the bolt got about 3/4 in nad I pulled it back out and the threads are good on the bolt. It would take a lot to fors a 19 into a 17 and I am not that dumb. I am going to re look at it today. Its not making sense to me as well as all of you, thanks for the input and I will get back you after I figure out what went wrong

the treads look good on the bolt because the block has "weaker" metal....
